The Science Museum of Western Virginia is a family-friendly learning institution presenting a bevy of interactive permanent exhibits, temporary displays, and educational programs. Visitors can view gems and crystals from around the world in the Earth Treasures exhibit, learn about the physics of shadows in the Light and Sound Arcade, view reptiles and exotic fish in the Live Animals Gallery, and much more. The Museum lies in the Center of the Square complex, at the heart of the city.
