The Virginia Western Theatre company provides volunteer-run dramatic productions to the Roanoke community, free of charge. Audience members don't even need a ticket to view such works as "The Diary of Anne Frank," and "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," they need just show up at the auditorium and enjoy. The company performs all its shows in the Business Science Building at Virigina Western Community College, slightly to the south and west of downtown.
